Outposts are scattered throughout the Mystical Ruins and contain towers that once served as conduits to supply the Core with powerful magic tapped from various realms required to jump start the Core. Mystics once lived in and around the outposts. They have since been abandoned and have succumbed to decay and ruin. Outposts are safe from troglodyte attacks and serve as checkpoints throughout the maze.
